A Tribute to the Rebbe

On Monday evening, 18 June, Chabad Brisbane held a special tribute in honour of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, marking thirteen years since his passing.

A ‘Farbrengen’ (Yiddish term for Chassidic gathering) took place at Chabad House in Carindale, and amidst the singing and delicious food, words of inspiration were heard from a visiting Rabbi Shmuel Langbart, of the world-renowned Gateshead Yeshiva in the UK.

Following a very moving audio/visual presentation about the Rebbe’s impact on the world today (even after his passing), both Rabbi Levi Jaffe and Chanoch Sufrin shared memories and stories of their experiences with the Rebbe.
